2318 Park Avenue Center provides research-based gender specific drug and alcohol treatment in South
\nMinneapolis.\u00a0 We are a community-based program that proudly and ethically serves Minnesota\u2019s less
\nfortunate individuals in gorgeous setting.\u00a0 Providing beautiful environments shows our passion and
\nrespect for clients and their recovery.\u00a0 Programs are issue orientated including topics such as mental
\nillness, trauma, though processes, anger management, relapse prevention, spirituality, relationships, self-
\nesteem and self-image.\u00a0 A team of Registered Dietitians and RNs are also on-site to provide education in
\nareas like living with diabetes\/chronic health issues and preparing health meals on a budget.
\n2318 Park Avenue Center now offers Direct Access to eligible clients looking to admit to treatment as
\nearly as same day.\u00a0 Direct Access eliminates the need for a Rule 25 assessment prior to admitting and
\npermits client to receive the help they need.
\nPark also provides free supportive housing for clients while attending outpatient treatment.\u00a0 Clients are
\ntaken grocery shopping and are provided with a weekly food allowance to do their own shopping and cooking<\/p>\n

2118 NUWAY Counseling Center IN THE HEART OF THE RECOVERY COMMUNITY<\/span><\/p>\n NUWAY is a non-profit organization serving individuals recovering from co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders since 1966.<\/span><\/p>\n Located in Minnesota, we offer an affordable extended care treatment continuum that includes residential and outpatient with recovery residence support. Our clients often struggle with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders, lack supportive recovery environments and need extended care to establish their recovery in the community.<\/span><\/p>\n What We Offer<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n – Medium and low intensity, co-occurring residential treatment for men, women, and transgender individuals <\/p>\n NUWAY is privileged to be the first in the nation to offer the Co-Occurring Disorders Program (CDP) that was created by the Dartmouth Medical School in association with the Hazelden Foundation. The goal of this program is to enhance our client\u2019s recovery through understanding substance use and mental health disorders.
